1. Who we are
PricingAPI is a deterministic financial-pricing API (a "MCP" service). It is operated as an independent project by an individual (sole proprietor — "persona física") resident in the Republic of Colombia, within the unitycoin.net ecosystem — not by a company or legal entity. For all privacy matters you can reach us at info@unitycoin.net.
2. What we collect
- Email address — when you log in through Cloudflare Access (email + PIN). Your email becomes your account identifier; it is used to authenticate you and to keep your prepaid credits tied to your identity.
- Anonymous usage identity — for the free anonymous tier, we derive a rotating hash of your IP address (SHA-256, reset daily) solely to enforce the free daily quota. We do not store raw IP addresses for this purpose.
- Account and credit records — your user identifier, credit balance, top-up transactions and tool-usage records, stored in Cloudflare's D1 database, so that prepaid credits and idempotent billing work.
- Minimal operational logs — short-lived technical logs (structured events without credentials) used to operate and debug the service.
3. What we do NOT collect
- Payment card data. Payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record. Card numbers and payment credentials go directly from you to Creem; we never see or store them.
- Advertising trackers or analytics sold to third parties. We run no ad networks and no behavioral profiling.
- Biometric or special-category data.
4. How we use data
- To provide the service you request (pricing calls against your credit balance).
- To keep billing correct and idempotent (deduplication of payments and usage).
- To prevent abuse (rate limits, quota enforcement, signature verification).
- To communicate about your account when you contact us.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Third parties
- Cloudflare — hosting, edge compute, database (D1), key-value storage and authentication (Cloudflare Access). Cloudflare's own privacy documentation applies to their infrastructure role.
- Creem (creem.io) — Merchant of Record for payments, taxes and refunds. Creem processes your payment details and issues receipts as the legal seller.
We share the minimum necessary data with these providers: your email/user identifier for authentication and billing correlation, and nothing else.
6. Retention
Account and credit records are kept while your account is active and as needed for accounting purposes. Anonymous quota hashes rotate daily. Operational logs are short-lived. You can request deletion of your account data at any time (section 7).
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to processing, by writing to info@unitycoin.net. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe (and in any case within the window required by the data-protection law that applies to you, e.g. 30 days under GDPR). Deleting your account also deletes the personal data associated with it, except what we must keep for accounting or legal reasons.
8. Beta notice
The service is in beta. During the beta, data handling follows this policy, but storage details and operational tooling may change. Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
